Paul Ledman, has always had a passion for history while following careers in geology, law, real estate and teaching. A New York City native, he has lived in Maine with his wife Colleen Myers for over 30 years.  His prior books are A Maine Town Responds: Cape Elizabeth and South Portland in the Civil War and the best-selling Walking Through History: Portland Maine on Foot.

Colleen Myers, was an attorney before transitioning to working with several not-for-profits. She has degrees in English literature, law and divinity. Colleen has also taught at the college level. That background and her writing experience, ranging from legal briefs to grant proposals, makes her eminently qualified to be an editor and proofreader. 

Bob Bettencourt, has had a lifelong interest in art that inevitably led him to a successful career as a graphic designer. By 1977, Bob was working as art director for agencies and publications including S.E.A., Kenney Advertising, The Martha’s Vineyard Times, Martha’s Vineyard Magazine, and WCSH6. In 1986, he opened his own firm specializing in corporate identity & graphic design catering to a diverse group of clients including The Black Dog Restaurant, Bowdoin College, and L.L.Bean.
